HOW IT BEGAN
In January 1983, I took over 'The Hamrun Library', a tiny newsagent and bookshop, strategically located right in front of St.Gaetan's parish church on the main road in Hamrun. It was established in the early 1940's by my grandpa Lawrence and uncle Anthony. I changed the name of the shop to ‘Pierre Stationery’ and from then onwards, my aim was to provide customers with a broad choice of products possible, together with an honest and friendly service.
Nowadays, my wife and I, together with our staff greet our customers from a much bigger premises, just two doors down from where it all started. Our e-commerce presence has helped many more people discover our business, while our choice of products has grown considerably to meet today’s discerning customer. Even though we have grown and changed to a successful business we are today, we are just as proud to say that our honest and friendly service is the same as ever!
An underground carpark is conveniently located at the Hamrun local council, just a couple of minutes away (€1.50 for up to 4 hours) Public transport is also available with several bus routes passing through Hamrun daily. Plan your route by visiting https://www.publictransport.com.mt
